CAN I USE THE MP3 HOWEVER I LIKE? CAN I USE IT IN MY HOME MOVIE?

No. You may only use the MP3 within the terms of the licence. To 'synchronise' the mp3 to visuals you must contact us for a different licence.

BUT IF I'VE BOUGHT THE MP3, SURELY I CAN USE IT HOW I LIKE?!
You haven't bought the MP3 - you have purchased a licence to use it within the terms set out in the agreement.

WHAT'S THIS STUFF ABOUT 'PERFORMANCE ROYALTIES'?

By law, to broadcast musical works, the broadcaster (venues, radio stations, etc.) must be licensed by a 'Performing Rights Organisation' (eg PRS, ASCAP, etc). You have purchased a licence to broadcast/perform the recording. The broadcaster (usually the venue), may also be required to pay the relevant license fee to any local Performing Rights Organisation in order to perform/broadcast the copyrighted musical work.
